What should my ePortfolio look like in Year 1?
We encourage and support your willingness to go beyond what is required for the Reaud Honor’s College, so the below table is just an outline/starting point for your reference. If you are in Year 1 as a new student, you should have an ePortfolio link set up and submitted via the Honors Leadership Community (HLC) online in the discussion area. Your ePortfolio at this point should include: an About Me post/page, a Research page, a Leadership page, and a Personal/Academic Goals page. Whether these are pages or posts at this point does not matter because you will move these things around as you progress through your academic programs.
If you are a sophomore or junior, you should have submitted a link and continually be adding to your site on a consistent basis.

In terms of Honor’s Experiences, formerly referred to as Points, you should have documented between 10-12 experiences on your ePortfolio over the course of the year. Yes, summers do count.

What should my ePortfolio look like in Year 2 and beyond?
All the above with the exception that you should have documented between 12-24 experiences at the conclusion of your second year in college. You can see the trend here.
Your ePortfolio is YOURS, not Lamar University’s or the REAUD Honor’s College. You will use this for graduate school admissions and applications and future job/career/employment opportunities.
When folks can easily find your website on Google or any other search engine, this increases your chances for visibility in a multitude of ways. Please contact me at tilisa.thibodeaux@lamar.edu to help you catch up and review the other pages within the Honor’s page on my site for further information.

End of Year 1 10-12 Honor’s Experiences All posts from HLC (if taken) and other posts (if you did not take HLC)

Where can I find help to build my eP?
